I refer to my HTML and PHP work as web development rather than web design, simply because
I'd be the first to admit that my design skills are not that great, and my artistic skills are
even worse!
I'm happy to design and develop entire sites, but as you may see from my showcase, I lean towards
"functional" designs, and shy away from graphically intensive layouts.
However, if you have a design in mind, and can produce all the necessary images yourself (or get
someone else to do them), then I can produce the technical back end to support whatever layouts
you want, with or without a database system to support it and for administration.
One of the hardest things to do with computers these days is setting up a home or office network. Particularly with wireless devices, there are so many configuration options available, it can sometimes be impossible to know what to do, and how best to do it.
We offer support all the way from selecting your hardware, through choosing a broadband provider, up
to actually installing the network hardware and configuring the PCs.
In addition, we can help with installing network cabling throughout the premises - however, if you need
anything run high up, you'll have to supply the ladders yourself!
One common feature of a modern small/home office network is a server - often used for file storage
and internet sharing. We can supply, install and maintain such a server for you, to suit whatever
your needs may be.
Systems can be supplied running either Windows or Linux - although, of course, a Linux server is
probably a better choice!
